WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT POOL FENCING?

CANNOT EASILY BE CLIMBED
NJ pool fences must be at least 4 feet tall. There are also very specific rules in place to keep children from climbing them, such as restrictions for horizontal components and a maximum size for openings.
SELF-LATCHING AND SELF-CLOSING
To be up to code in New Jersey, your fence must be self-closing and self-latching to help keep children out of the area when adults are not present. There are plenty of safe latch options depending on your style of fence.

The most popular material we use for pool fencing is aluminum. Aluminum pool fences are strong, safe, and won’t separate parts of your yard. This is perfect for people who want to just enclose a dedicated pool area but leave other parts of their lawn open.
If you’re looking for privacy in your pool, we recommend a solid wood or PVC fence style that is over 4 feet tall so that you can relax in private. A lot of people combine privacy fences and aluminum fences when fencing their yard with a pool.
