Fencing prices from the Good Fence People
What are fencing prices like?
It doesn’t matter how much value a new fence adds to a property, owners always want to know how much this is going to cost. And we don’t blame you! You can’t own property in New Jersey and not be super aware of prices. But you won’t find a price list or price by the foot chart on our site. Why? We’re called “The Good Fence People” for a reason!
Free Estimates For The Fairest Price
We offer free onsite estimates so we can take all of your fencing considerations into account before giving you a price. When we give you a price, we sit down and do all the math. A lot of local fence companies will give you a range and try to trick you into thinking you’re getting a deal. We’re not like that. We take the time – with no obligation to you – to sit down and do the math to ensure you’re getting a fair price for the materials and our employees are getting paid fairly, as well.
While we can’t give you exact prices before we see your property, we can help you get an idea of how much your fence will cost by going over the main factors that impact the cost of the fence. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to fill out a contact form or just give us a call!
THE most important details that impact the cost of your fence
The first thing that will impact the price of your fence is the physical footprint of the fence. The fence length is very important when coming up with a fair fence price, but it isn’t the only important factor. That’s why we don’t list pricing for fence types by the foot. It just doesn’t give an accurate idea of what the fence will actually cost.
Along with the physical footprint of your fence, the height of your fence will also impact the overall price. In general, taller fences are more expensive than shorter fences of the same material from the same manufacturer. We say “in general,” because since the COVID-19 pandemic we’ve had to get creative with sourcing fence materials.
No two fence materials cost the same. Chain link, vinyl, wood, and aluminum fences all have different prices that vary depending on the time of year, supply and demand, colors, textures, and more. Another factor is that different manufacturers have different prices as well. We try to offer a wide scope of materials so we can find the fence that best fits your needs and budget, but just know that the material will also impact the cost.
Another pricing consideration is where we are installing a fence and what the property looks like. If your fence area is level and free of obstructions, it is much easier for our installers to get the work done. If your property is hilly, rocky, or has a lot of obstructions, it could cost a little more. Please note that we have a labor minimum for all repairs so we can pay our employees a fair wage.
